Shibori ponds bronze open turban an all season collection piece.
We have hand-dyed this intricate silk and linen headband into an intense deep black tone. The moonlit ponds in beautiful dark brass hue were hand-sewn to contrast with the dark shibori fabric.
Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique. It consists in bundling and folding fabric when applying colour. The resulting patterns on the fabric are often unexpected.
Due to its artisanal origin any variations that occur on the piece will be part of its natural aging process and an enhancing feature.
The collection pieces gather hints from lost cultures in their soft tribal patterns.
